Soovin Choi is an international student from South Korea pursuing a Fine Arts degree in Media Arts at San Jose State University. She came to the United States to study Film Production at first. Then, she fell in love with film photography while studying and working at Monterey Peninsula College's photography department. After Choi studied black and white Photography for two years, she transferred to San Jose State University for a photography program. However, she found her big interest in Digital Media Arts from taking Lacy Nein's ART74 class: Introduction to Digital Media Arts. The infinite possibility of creating unique mixed media artwork was the exciting factor of her changing major to Digital Media Arts. Currently, she is a senior at San Jose State University, majoring in BFA Digital Media Arts and minoring in Photography.
